I’m not really one for obsessing about new make-up launches. OK, that’s a lie, but I’m more inclined to get excited about skincare than make-up. However, I still do love make-up which is why I’ve been absolutely desperate to try the Revlon Lip Butters that seem to have been out in the States for forever. Thankfully, my fabulous Texan friend Ann arrived in London today, and with her she brought a collection of gorgeous Lip Butters for me to try.
I’ll be writing a full review of these tomorrow with some on the lips pictures and with that I’ll also be starting a competition for your chance to win one of these fabulous lippies. I’m only giving away one (unopened and in the shade Tutti Frutti) so keep an eye out for that if you fancy trying one of these before they launch in the UK on 14th March.
I’ve read such great things about these that I was worried they might not live up to the hype, but so far I’m happy to report that they’re incredibly nourishing and the colour payoff is really decent. Texturally, as predicted, they’re very much like Chanel Rouge Coco and you can read my thoughts on a couple of these here with an on the lips post here.
All pictures are in this order apart from the main one at the top:
Strawberry Shortcake
Cotton Candy
Cherry Tart
Berry Smoothie
Sugar Plum
Here’s some swatches taken under various different lights in the same order as above:
You are so lucky to get your hands on these. I have got to wait until these are released on the 14th of March…. not fair!
Don’t forget to check out my nail polish giveaway.

Ha ha 😀 I know! I’m soooo happy to have them, I’ve been banging on about them all day! Will definitely check out your giveaway xx
I’m wondering whether these are similar to Revlon Shiny Sheers, which are still among my favourite sheer lippies ever made. I’ll look forward to taking a look at them in the future!
I’m not too sure to be honest, but they are both shiny and sheer (although of course that depends on application) so maybe they could be close to the Shiny Sheers! xx
