Another beauty box has arrived and can be found under the name She Said Beauty. I have no idea whether it’s any good, but it seems reasonably priced and the packaging is quite funky. There’s something about turquoise and bright pink; they’re such clashing colours but they just look so good together! I went through a phase where I was determined to make a top using those two colours, the only obstacle being that I can’t sew.
She Said Beauty are trying to create a more community-like feel with their boxes and I believe they’re hoping that people will review the products received in their boxes on the site. I’m not too sure if there will be an incentive for this input or not, but it’ll be interesting to see if this aspect of it takes off.
What is a bit different about this box is that there are quite a few beauty pros involved. It’s unclear how involved they actually are so I don’t know whether the pros will have an influence on the boxes or are just there to write about things that are relevant to the boxes, or indeed if they’re just there to write about beauty related topics, but they’ve got some good names on board including Louise Woollam from Get Lippie.
There’s an introductory 25% off offer at the moment, meaning that the first box will cost £9.70 including p+p. The normal price will be £11.95 including p+p which isn’t the cheapest on the market, but isn’t the most expensive either. Whether this is good value or not will of course depend on the quality of the samples included. The boxes will include five samples and more information is available here.
I’ve just signed up for my first She Said Box which will be delivered in March. So far I’ve been very loyal to Glossy Box but I can’t stand the negativity that surrounds it so I’ve signed up to a couple of others to see what else is available. I’m looking forward to reading your review this month 🙂
Hi Rebecca, I’m not actually subscribing to the She Said Beauty box as I’m a bit fatigued by all the beauty boxes to be honest! I’ll be keeping an eye out to see what other people think though 🙂 Will be posting about my thoughts on Beauty Boxes soon xx
Hi
I have just received my first She Said Beauty Box and I love it! Fab samples especially the lipstick and nail varnish. Can’t wait till next month.

I’ve seen the blog posts about it and it looked like an amazing first box! Wish I’d gone with it now, but I’m trying to spend less and it would’ve been a bit silly to decide to spend less by cancelling my subscriptions, to then start another with a different box! Really pleased you liked the contents xx
I was so disappointed with my October box – just reviewed if you want to check it out xxx
