I’ve always been familiar with the St Ives brand as the makers of the purse-friendly apricot scrub and I think their exfoliator is one of those cult products that everyone has in their beauty cabinet. ย I was aware that a few different variants of the scrub had been released over the past few years, but there’s also quite a few more choices than I was aware of.
The originals with the new Renew and Firm Scrub on the right.ย |
There’s the original scrub and the blemish-fighting alternative, but there’s also now a “Renew and Firm” version aimed at slightly less teenage skin, which contains alpha-hydroxy acid, thus making it both a chemical and mechanical exfoliator. ย I really like the idea of this so I’ll definitely be trying it soon.
The Elements range.ย |
The other newbies in the range are the Elements products, which include an Olive Scrub, a Microdermabrasion treatment and a Warming Scrub. ย I love treatments that warm as I do think they work well to open up the pores to ensure a deeper scrub, so this is another one that’s on my list.
The ingredients and natural exfoliators.ย |
As St Ives tend to fall into the lower end of the price bracket, it won’t cost a lot to try out their new offerings, so they’re definitely worth checking out.
Available at Superdrugย and Tesco; Tesco currently have a promotion for 3 for 2 on St Ives products.
