Diptyque are a French brand of luxury fragrances who are renowned for their amazing scented candles.
I’ve been eagerly seeking an excuse to try out something from the line, and last week, along came the perfect encouragement in the shape of Ree from ReallyRee.com who was running a promotion for the brand; buy anything from the website and receive a small travel pouch containing a Mimosa candle and Lait Frais Body Lotion.
I wasn’t particularly interested in the body lotion as I rarely use it generally, but I loved the idea of being able to sample a couple of candles from the range.
The candle I chose for myself was the Jasmin scented one as I love Jasmine generally and apparently it’s one of the best scents for creating calm and relaxation, which is definitely something I need more of! My goodies arrived beautifully packaged in a large draw string bag.
Inside I found my candle, a sample of 34 EDT and another smaller draw string bag that contained my promotional items.
The delivery of the products screamed luxury, so if you really fancy pampering yourself or a lucky friend then ordering from Diptyque will do you well. The Jasmin candle fragrance is light, delicate and unobtrusive yet incredibly refreshing and relaxing.
I’m really happy I picked it as I love the scent; it’s just a great, clean aroma that lingers long after the candle has been extinguished. I’ll be taking the Mimosa mini candle with me on my holiday, so I’ll no doubt review that on my return.
