I was having a browse around my local Mac counter earlier this week and found myself being sucked in by the seriously pretty shades from the Glamour Daze collection. Originally, I was seeking out the MSFs, but I ended up purchasing two eyeshadows instead.
The two shades I went for were A Natural Flirt and Evening Grey. I chose A Natural Flirt because, just like with pink lipsticks, I seem to be obsessed with adding as many nude, shimmering beiges to my collection as is humanly possible.
I chose Evening Grey after swatching it; it contains the most fantastic tiny chunks of blue/green glitter that give it an almost holographic finish.
As I said, A Natural Flirt is a very subtle beige with a hint of shimmer. It’s such a great shade for “no make-up make-up” looks as it’s very close to my natural skin colour, so it adds light and a tiny touch of warmth. It’s quite similar to Bobbi Brown’s Champagne, although definitely more flesh toned (yes, it’s possible) and therefore more subtle. I can quickly swipe this on for instant lift if I’m looking tired, but it’s also a great base shade for heavier eye make-up.
Evening Grey is a gun metal grey with generous yet delicate sparkle. It isn’t a shade I’d normally go for but the almost holographic finish sold me on it. It actually swatches a lot darker than it looks in the pan and I was expecting it to be a light, silvery shade, but it’s stronger and amazing for a smoky eye. I’ve been wearing this just on it’s own as a wash over lids and it’s a really lovely colour that works well with blue eyes. I’m surprised by how much I love it and the swatches definitely do not do it justice.
So two new shades have been added to my collection, both of which are getting plenty of use. I’ll be smoking up Evening Grey tomorrow for a night out, so I’ll try and find time to take some pictures for an EOTD post.

Wow!!! I super like the colors. I wanna have those too. I am going to include them in my wishlist and I hope somebody would make that wish come true =)
They’re such fantastic shades; I thought I’d use A Natural Flirt more but I’ve actually been using Evening Grey every day! xx
