I’ve been a long-term fan of the Bobbi Brown Tinted Eye Brightener* and have witnessed it’s many incarnations, from pot, to pen, to it’s current version which is a lipgloss-style tube complete with a doe-foot applicator. Thankfully, the great formulation hasn’t changed and the packaging was changed purely to meet customer requests for the ability to see how much is left in the tube so they weren’t caught off-guard when the product ran out!
Tinted Eye Brightener is a creamy, liquid concealer that’s designed to lift and brighten the under eye area; it’s a lighter alternative to the Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer which has a thicker consistency and is more pigmented, but it can still be used over Corrector which is how I usually use it when I need more colour payoff.
The doe-foot applicator makes applying product much easier as you can control where and how much you apply; I personally much prefer a doe-foot to a pen-style since I find pen-styles get clogged up quickly, plus it’s easy to end up overdoing the concealing when using the pen. The shade I use is Bisque which is a perfect match for my skintone and thankfully my eye bags are rarely so dark that I need intensely pigmented coverage. However, if you do suffer from really dark circles then it’s worth getting shade-matched to a slightly lighter shade to ensure the blue-tones are lifted as effectively as possible.
Tinted Eye Brightener have had a serious cult following for years, and I’m pleased to say that the product still delivers on great, light coverage that’s ideal for “no make-up make-up” days when your under eyes just need a little lift. Available now for £19.50 from Bobbi Brown.
