That’s right, I like to rhyme-pun now; it’s the new me. Pinterest in one of those things that you hear about, think you’ll never reap any benefit from, then eventually when you do join you suddenly find yourself spending hours putting together boards of lust-worthy products, perving over cheescake recipes and laughing at funny cat pictures. Just me? Okay.
I was recently contacted to be part of the Pin It Forward campaign, which is basically an opportunity for bloggers to showcase on of their boards. I decided to go for my Nail board, which might seem like a strange choice since I am, ahem, not the best at all things nails – certainly not when it comes to varnish application at the very least – but I went with it because I’ve done a lot of nail posts and I like the idea of having a board that contains all of them for me and others to mooch at and see swatches in action.
As part of Pin It Forward, the bods at Pinterest have started a kind of blogger chain where we each introduce the blogger who is posting the day after we are. Tomorrow (4th June 2013) the Fab Fashionista from Frills and Feathers will be posting about her favourite board, so it’s definitely worth checking out her blog and her Pinterest.
There’s also another fab blogger who’s more focused on all things bride and therefore goes by the name of My Little Ginger Wedding. Her blog is also worth mooching over so here it is, and don’t forget to check her out on Pinterest too.
Thanks for participating in Pin It Forward, Sascha! It’s great that you have been able to share your nail posts and ideas on Pinterest! I love looking through all the designs you created- they are fabulous! I have to try the Catch the Bow Tie look! Lauren, Community Coordinator
That is such a fun idea! Like you I didn’t see the point of Pinterest but have spent hours pinning my little heart away! 🙂
Sascha – thanks so much for Pinning Forward to me!! Your title is great – wish I’d thought of that 😉
Signed up for more of your beauty geekness 🙂
