There are four variants of the Jurlique Hand Creams in total: Rose, Jasmine, Lavender and Citrus, all of which have slightly different functions, but of course the main one being that they’re designed to replace moisture on the hands. I have both the Rose and Jasmine variants, and functionally they’re both pretty much on a par, although I’d probably say the Rose one is slightly richer. However, the Jasmine – in my mind – beats the Rose hands down on scent as it is the most glorious Jasmine fragrance I have come across in a long time…possibly ever!
The great thing about the scents used in these hand creams is just how natural and genuine they smell. The Rose one, even though not necessarily my sort of thing (however I’m still using it for my feet as it’s a great treatment) smells exactly like a bunch of roses. I love the smell of roses, but I think I’m just too captivated by the Jasmine scent. My mum has a Jasmine plant so I can definitely confirm that the Jasmine used in this hand cream is the real deal.
I’ve always struggled to regularly moisturise my hands as I firstly can never be bothered, but also, I really hate the greasy, mucky feeling you get with treatments, especially rich creams. I won’t lie and say that you don’t get that greasy feeling with these two hand creams, but it’s only there for a minute or two; after that, the product fully absorbs and the only way you know you’ve used a hand cream is because your hands feel considerably softer. Since I am such a huge Jasmine fan – even more so during my pregnancy – I actually look forward to settling down in bed and working some of the Jurlique Jasmine Hand Cream into my hands and then inhaling deeply and regularly. I absolutely love the Jasmine variant of the Jurlique hand creams, so it’ll definitely be a repurchase for me. The tubes in the picture are 40ml which retails at £17, but you can also get 125ml for £33 which is definitely a much more cost-effective option. More info can be found at the Jurlique site, and don’t forget Jurlique is also now available instore at M&S Your Beauty.
