As a Beauty Blogger, I start receiving info about Christmas releases from midway through the year onwards (hence the term “Christmas in July” which is when the press first glimpse upcoming Christmas products) so by the time Christmas actually arrives, I have a fairly good idea of what to expect. One of the things I love most is the limited edition products as I’m such a sucker for a time-limit, which is why I look forward to the Boxing Day sales when everyone goes a bit crazy trying to get hold of their favourite limited edition product before it disappears forever more…
Method Hand Washes in Gingerbread and Mistletoe
These hand washes from Method are a cheap and cheery way of adding a bit of Christmasness (it’s a word…) to the otherwise mundane task of hand washing. I get on really well with Method hand washes as they’re very gentle and they look and feel much more expensive than their modest price of £2.99 each. More info can be found here – link.
Nails Inc Nail Polish Diary
I’ve banged on about this beauty a few times over various social media channels and on here, but it’s because I do love it so! Nails Inc put together some seriously awesome sets, and this one is no exception. You get 12 polishes to mark every month and there’s a lovely selection of colours too. It’s £42 and more info can be found here – link.
Liz Earle Christmas Stars
The Liz Earle Christmas range is so lovely this year with something to suit all budgets and tastes. The perfect example of this is the Christmas Star selections, which ranged from lipsticks and polishes to my personal favourite, which was the mini Cleanse and Polish that came with 30ml of the aforementioned cleanser plus a muslin cloth in the cute little star for just £5.50! Predictably it sold out quickly, but it might be worth trying your luck at a counter. Check this baby out here – link.
Jan Marini Holiday Exfoliator
I had to do a double take when I received the press info for this product as it’s an exfoliator that’s cookie scented to make it holiday appropriate…I kid you not! I’ve chosen to conveniently ignore the fact that there’s probably some not-very-skin-friendly additions to give it that gorgeous, edible scent, and instead focus on the fact that it’s a rather genius gimmick that certainly performs to the high Jan Marini standard. This is £40 and the review is coming soon, but in the meantime head here for more info – link.
Illamasqua Perfect Pout Gift Set
I’m sure something similar to this set from Illamasqua was released last year, but it’s easy to see why I zoned in on it since it’s an intensely pretty collection of various shades of pink lipsticks. If purchased separately the products would come in at £99, so this set costing £60 comes with quite a saving. Head here for more info – link.
There we have a quick look at some of the lovely limited edition Christmas products available. Hopefully this will either inspire for some last minute gift shopping, or give you some help with deciding what to keep an eye on in the sales…
