In a few short days I’ll be experiencing Mother’s Day as someone who has a mum and someone who is a mum for the first time! I’ve dropped some pretty obvious hints to Teddy, so hopefully he’ll pick up on them and get me what I want. Teddy, if you’re reading this, it is neither a drool-soaked bib nor a heavily gummed tissue that I’m hoping for.
To start with we have the first of two Jo Malone releases, the Mother’s Day Floral Box which is a Mother’s Day take on their beautiful Valentine’s Day Floral box (which I didn’t get, BY THE WAY) and contains a stunning bouquet of glorious fresh flowers plus a 100ml cologne of choice, making this a seriously pretty gift that gives your mum the best of both worlds; flowers and perfume. It’s £120 and an exclusive from the Sloane Street boutique until Sunday, so you’ve got time to get stuck in. Head here – link – for more info on the Sloane Street store, and if you’ve left it all to the last minute then keep in mind that it’s open until 5pm on Sunday…
Next up is a bit of pampering from my favourite London salon, Adamina Spa. I am loooong overdue a visit here – I actually had Teddy’s dad all primed and ready to book me in for their pregnancy package but for inexplicable reasons it didn’t happen – and I will be booking in for a pedicure with them soon, so I can sip lattes and watch Sex and the City whilst they tend to my tootsies; favourite pedicure ever! They offer various types of packages (you don’t have to get the Mother’s Day package and could go for one of the others) to suit all budgets, so they’re definitely worth checking out. Head here – link – for their package info.
Lastly, Elemis are probably the ultimate brand when it comes to gorgeously presented goodies for special occasions, so don’t forget to check out what’s new from the brand in my post here.
A slightly premature Happy Mother’s Day to all you fabulous mothers and to the awesome sons and daughters who will hopefully be giving mum something fabulous to mark the day.
Have a lovely first Mother’s Day, hope Teddy gets you something nice 🙂
