I was quite excited about this month’s Love List, and even found myself itching to write it early which is definitely a first for me! It was a very easy collection for me this month as there have been some wonderful standout products, so here are my five favourites for March 2014:
GOSH Forever Eyeshadow in Light Copper
As mentioned in my post about these shadow sticks here, Light Copper is an extremely easy to wear shade that you can slick on and blend out in literally seconds, leaving your eyes looking like you’ve invested a lot more time in them than you have. No primer needed, just run it over the upper eyelid and along the lower lash line and you’re done. I’m going through this at a rapid rate as I’ve been using it pretty much every day since I got it, but for £5.99 it won’t cost a fortune to replace.
Jo Malone London Rain in Wisteria & Violet
Yup, still wearing this every day and still loving it as per my initial post here. It’s the most perfect fragrance for anyone who enjoys floral notes but wants something a little less generic than rose themed scents, and the 100ml bottle will last you forever – I’m taking special care of mine and keeping it in it’s box to hopefully maintain it for as long as possible as I can’t see myself getting bored of it anytime soon.
Benefit Gimme Brow in Light/Medium
This little game-change from Benefit is an essential for anyone who loves a naturally neat brow but can’t find the time to faff about with pencils and powder. This quite literally does it all for you by giving you colour, definition and tidiness in one quick sweep of the dainty little brush. I have no idea how it’s done but it really does work. Have a look at my review here.
Aesop Purifying Facial Exfoliant Paste
It might sound a little strange, but one of my most favourite skincare products is the one I use pre-shower as often it’s the only chance I get for a quick pamper, so I like to use something that’s efficient and that I look forward to using. This buffing paste from Aesop ticks those boxes as it’s gentle yet very softening and a real pleasure to use. It doesn’t anger any spots but it effectively removes dry patches so it’s a great all-rounder. Here’s my more in-depth review.
Trish McEvoy Gel Eye Liner in Black
Last but by no means least is this liner from Trish McEvoy as featured in the Azure planner that I reviewed here. If you like the Tightlined look but can’t always find the time needed to wet a brush, worth the cake liner into a paste and then carefully line your eyes, you must try this liner from Trish which takes about 10 seconds to apply and gives a very similar effect to Tightlining as you can use it on the upper lash line or on the upper waterline (as well as lower) making it a brilliant liner that I’m hoping will expand to include more shades soon as I’m a big fan.
