As raved about in previous posts, L’Oreal Superliner Perfect Slim is my perfect liner as it’s soooo easy to draw a skinny and straight line with. Therefore, I was thrilled to see two new shades added to the existing black shade; green and blue. Both shades are gentle takes on the colour so very easy to wear; the blue is like a light navy and the green is a deeper, forest green.
If you’re unfamiliar with the Superliner Perfect Slim, is basically a thin and long felt-tip/sponge liner which means you can see what you’re doing as you draw, therefore leaving a lot less room for error. The sponge ensures flexibility so you can get the colour right into the lashes which means you’re less likely to leave a gap, so if you’re a bit rubbish at applying liner then this is a great one to try.
I’ve been using the black version of this pretty much since it came out, so I was eager to try the green shade. It’s worth warming it up a bit by drawing it a few times before trying it on your eye as it takes a few attempts to get a solid line of colour. Once you reach that point it’s then extremely easy to create a fluid line of colour. The green shade works really well with my blue eyes and is just bright enough to show colour, without being so bright that it looks garish; even though I haven’t used the blue, I would guess the same would apply.
