It’s time to get all lovey over a neutral palette again, and this month’s favourite is the gloriously warm and shimmery Pixi Mesmerizing Palette in Copper Peach. Included in the flip-top palette are six shades that fall into the copper/peach spectrum, so this particular variant is certainly well named.
The six shades go from a very pale champagne gold shade right through to an almost black, muddy brown shade. All six colours are shot through with warm shimmer that’s very flattering and thankfully gentle enough to stay miles away from anything that could be described as glitter.
The formula itself is an almost cream-like buttery consistency that glides on to eyelids and leaves an almost metallic, wet look. This collection of shades suits my blue eyes perfectly, but as they’re a pretty neutral selection I’d say most skin tones could suit them as long as you can work a warm shadow.
Packaging-wise, I really like the flip-top container as it’s something a bit different, plus the included sponge applicator isn’t half as rubbish as they usually are when coming free with palettes. I think this is a great little edit of shades that would work well to go on holiday with, have a buttery enough formula to work well with fingers if needs be, plus they all compliment each other and blend together beautifully making this quite a bargain at just £12, meaning you’re paying £2 a shadow.
There are three shade combinations in total, this one, plus Emerald Gold which is very similar to Copper Peach but includes a couple of green shades, and Plum Quartz which is a cooler palette that contains plums and lilacs and looks absolutely lovely; it’s on my ‘want’ list! The Mesmerizing Mineral Palettes are available now from both the store on Fouberts Place W1 and online here – link.
