Quick Pick Tuesday: Lee Stafford My Big Fat Healthy Hair Shampoo and Conditioner

May 27, 2014 · In: Hair Care, Reviews

IMG_4650

That may well be the longest title to any blog post I’ve ever written.  Anyway…a little while ago I wrote a post on the Lee Stafford Oily Roots Dry Ends duo, of which I really liked but found to not be moisturising enough for my hair which is fine, but there’s quite a bit of it and I mentioned that I’m using another duo from the Lee Stafford range which I’m getting on much better with.  Therefore, let me introduce you to the Lee Stafford My Big Fat Healthy Hair Shampoo and Conditioner duo which are a fabulous pair of volume and shine boosting products that my hair has responded really well to.

Both products come in base, flip-top squeezy bottles and the product inside contains the infamous Lee Stafford scent (of his products, not him, obvs).  I won’t bore you with lots of detail and I will instead say that the shampoo lathers well and leaves hair feeling just the right side of squeaky clean, whilst the conditioner is a great balance of moisturising without weighing hair down.  I didn’t get as much height and lift from these two as I did from the Oily Roots Dry Ends set, but my hair was softer, easier to comb through and generally easier to style.  You won’t get huge volume using these two alone, but they’re a great set of base products for other volume-boosting products.  In conclusion, if you want massive hair that’s still shiny but prone to knots (in my experience) then go for the Oily Roots Dry Ends set, but if you’re willing to give up a bit of that volume to have hair that’s soft, bouncy and knot-free then try the My Big Fat Healthy Hair Duo, which are £5.99 each and available here – link.

Oooh I love Lee Stafford Hair products although very rarely find they do what they say. Trying in the treatment ‘For Hair that never grows past a certain lenght’ in hope of a miracle! :o)

Apparently post-cancer patients have used that for help with growing their hair after being treated with chemo, so hopefully that’s a testament to how good it is! xx
