Elemis have been spoiling us with new launches lately, so rather clog-up your timeline with loads of Elemis posts, I thought I’d put their most recent launches in one news-based post instead! See? I can do ‘organised’ occasionally. There are four new launches in total, all of which are products to get excited about, so if you love a bit of Elemis then you might want to hide your credit card or look away now…
I’ll start off with my favourite which is the Pro-Collagen Hydra-Gel Eye Masks which are pre-soaked patches that sit below each eye; pretty much sheet masks for the under eye area. These are literally saturated in skin-loving goodies such as collagen and hyaluronic acid, making them the perfect pre-event pick-me-up (I think this paragraph is possibly the most hyphenated I’ve ever written…) with the plumping, hydrating effects lasting up to six hours; when you hear a whistling sound and your eye area feels like it’s deflating, that’s when the effects are wearing off. Kidding. Having tried these a couple of times I can vouch for their effectiveness; they are extremely hydrating and I love, love, love the feeling of my whole under eye are afterwards, but the downside is that they don’t appear to offer any long-term benefits and they are extremely expensive considering you only get six uses. Having said that, if you have the cash and you want something to perk up the under eyes then you definitely can’t go wrong with these which you can find here – link – for £46.
Next are the Total Glow Bronzing products, of which there are two products; the Total Glow Bronzing Moisturiser for Face and the Total Glow Bronzing Body Lotion, the latter of which isn’t pictured as I couldn’t find it when I was taking the pictures…However, aesthetically it’s just a bigger version of the face bottle so it’s no biggy. Both products are gradual tanners that are formulated with some lovely ingredients to improve skin as well as add colour to it, and both products should start showing colour in 2-3 days. The face product is £29.50 here – link – and the body product is £34.50 here – link.
Last but by no means least is the most technical of the launches, which is the Advanced Brightening Even Tone Serum. I’m always a bit nervous about these serums as they have a reputation for giving people quite bad breakouts, but if any brand is going to manage to avoid that it’ll be Elemis, so hopefully when I give this a try soon all will be well! This is a multi-purpose product that not only reduces existing pigmentation, it also prevents future pigmentation forming and I really like the fact that it’s specifically mentions acne scars as they are notoriously tricky to lighten. This is available now from here – link – for £59.
There we have it; a little bit of pampering, a little bit of colour and some fancy new skincare, so there really is something for everyone and I can’t wait to see what’s next from Elemis.
