Later this week sees the arrival of the newest launch from fab nail brand Models Own, the Sweet Shop Collection. The Models Own Sweet Shop Collection contains five new shades that are flavoured with a sweet-based scent that falls within the sweet shop category. The fun and summery scented shades are:
Pear Drops – coral scented with pear drops
Fizzy Cola Bottles – neutral beige brown scented with cola
Rhubarb and Custard – dark red scented with rhubarb and custard
Liquorice Allsorts – opaque black scented with liquorice
Gumballs – hot pink scented with bubblegum
The shades I’m most excited about are – no not the pink! You think you know me so well don’t you? – the Fizzy Cola Bottles shade as if you look at the press shot above, it appears there’s a light shimmer in the mix which I think would make for a very pretty, daytime sparkly nude. Okay so I am quite excited about Gumballs too, but I’m more excited about Fizzy Cola Bottles. So there. Scent-wise I am loving the idea of Pear Drops as I looooove the smell of pear. I’m also quite interested to see how Liquorice Allsorts swatches up since I imagine it to be a very dense, “liquorice-like” shiny black. I’m keen to get sniffy with it when the Models Own Sweet Shop Collection launches on the 25th July – so this Friday – at Models Own online, the following day at the Bottleshops and Superdrug at the end of the month, so you don’t have long to wait to get your mitts and noses on these.
