The Boots No7 AW14 collection is deep, dark and moody and based around colours of navy, black and berry shades. It’s a small edit of 1 eye palette, 2 nail colours, 1 blusher and 2 lip shades, but it’s a lovely little collection that’s really on trend for the upcoming season.
The new releases I’m most keen on are the Matte Lip Crayons which have a lovely texture that’s creamy and comfortable with a demi-matte finish. The two shades are Raspberry Red – a very wearable, muted red shade and Raspberry Wine – a more traditionally autumnal berry shade. I like these very much and I can see them being popular, so I hope they extend the colour range soon. These are £9 here – link.
There’s also a new shade in their Pop & Glow Cream Blush range called Watermelon which is a really lovely, warm and mid pink shade that I would’ve matched to a Spring/Summer release personally, but it does work with the rest of the shades to stop the look getting too Goth. This is £9.95 here – link.
The palette contains some lovely shades but the colour payoff is surprisingly disappointing. I’ve found some absolute essential shades in the No7 Stay Perfect trios, so I was expecting the usual impressive finish but that hasn’t been the case here. However, hopefully they’re just rubbish for swatching and better on the eye; I’ll do a FOTD for the full collection soon and report back with an update.
The palette is called In The Navy and contains a really gorgeous, slightly mauve taupe shade, a shimmery ivory and a deep navy and is £9.50 here – link.
Lastly, we have the new Stay Perfect Nail Colour shades in Blue Patent and Black Patent. These are some seriously deep and dark shades, with Black Patent only needing one coat for a completely opaque finish, whereas Blue Patent needs the two.
Blue Patent is a lovely, true navy shade that’s very dark and very flattering against pale skin. These are £6 here – link.
The full Boots No7 AW14 collection is available now both instore and online. There’s also a buy-one-get-one-half-price offer on selected No7 products.

Blue Patent looks gorgeous!
It’s such a perfect wintery shade; I think it’d look awesome on both fingers and toes xx
I really like the Lip Crayons from No. 7 but haven’t tried the Matte version yet. Both of these shades look lovely & I’ll have to check them out! i think Navy is an under-rated colour – both the nail shades look wonderful, I may just have to invest in both of those too! This is not good for my bank balance! Xx
The matte crayons are soooo fab! Really hoping for more colours. Act quickly as there’s a buy one get one half price deal on most of the No7 new releases so you should be able to save a few bob! xx
