I had to write about these fabulous multi-purpose sets, the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstars on the Go palettes, as they’re such great edits with colours that I would actually use in extremely easy formulas. Each palette contains a shade of metallic, cream eyeshadow along with a lip and cheek cream, so the products benefit from quick and easy application making these perfect for holidays; these are the sort of thing I would’ve loved to take away with me, back in the day when I actually had holidays…
There are five colourways, each of which are named after iconic films, so you have (as in the above picture going from top left clockwise) Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Some Like It Hot, Rebel Without a Cause, All About Eve and The Spy Who Loved Me.
I’m hoping the collection will expand to include some pinker shades, but can you imagine how amazing these colours will look alongside a tan? An easy holiday look would involve a good tinted moisturiser followed by one of these on lips and cheeks, a slick of the metallic cream over the lids (which could also be taken along the lower lash line with a cotton bud if you fancy a bit more definition) and a coat of mascara; that truly would be a 5 minute face and I’ve never wanted to holiday more! The Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar on the Go palettes are available now from Selfridges for £42 here – link.
These all look gorgeous. I would have trouble deciding on which one to buy.
