Holy MOLY this is a gorgeous new launch: The Models Own Diamond Luxe is a collection of ten new polish shades covering the most beautiful colour spectrum, with each shade containing real diamond dust (!!) to give a multi-dimensional shimmer. Seriously, people. I’m hoping the fact that it’s diamond dust will give it that gentle, grown-up shimmer – rather than full blown glitter – which would be useful for two reasons; from a personal perspective I prefer that finish to all-out glitter and secondly that should result in easier removal. It certainly looks like that’s the finish so fingers crossed!
The ten new shades (from L-R in the picture above) are:
Princess Pink, Trillion Taupe, Heart Red,
Pear Purple, Marquise Maroon, Carat Coral,
Asscher Blue, Radiant Pink, Emerald Green and Oval Plum.
There is not a shade in that lot that I wouldn’t wear but, rather predictably, I’ve zoned in on both Princess Pink and Radiant Pink. However, Asscher Blue and Oval Plum look amazing, the latter of which is a perfect, seasonally transitional shade, don’t you think? Plus this launch also sees the arrival of the limited edition gold caps too, so it’s very all-out luxe for the Models Own Diamond Luxe collection! I should have some of these to play with soon so I’ll keep you updated on how I get on, but in the meantime the date for your diary is 19th September when they launch online at Models Own here – link – for £4.99 a pop. The following day they go into the Bottleshops and then finally into Superdrug stores on the 24th. Not long to wait for this beautiful and very exciting launch from Models Own.
