There are two new and exciting launches from skincare brand Philosophy, one of which I’m particularly excited about and the other that I’m a bit nervous about using regularly myself but I can see being great for anyone with particularly dry skin. I’ll start with the latter which is the new Philosophy Miracle Worker Overnight.
Miracle Worker Overnight is an extremely rich and nourishing overnight moisturiser designed to deal with lines, wrinkles and general signs of ageing. It contains all sorts of goodies such as Vitamin C, marine algae extract and peptides that target age-accelerating proteins and the clinical studies provided some great results. I’ve tried this a couple of times and can say with confidence that it is fantastic at hydrating the skin and it’s definitely a product I turn to whenever my skin starts playing up and leaning towards dehydration. However, as it’s so rich I’d be too nervous to use this on a nightly basis as I think my fussy, spot-prone skin would start reacting if I don’t tread carefully, although obviously that’s an educated speculation more than anything else! If you have dry skin then this will be your new best friend so definitely give it a go. It’s £45.50 here – link – and you need a smidgen a night, so this will last you.
Next is the product that I’m most excited about which is the Philosophy Time in a Bottle Eye which is the latest addition to the Time in a Bottle range. This multi-purpose serum offers a whole host of benefits such as brightening, tightening and smoothing as well as energising and awakening the eye area. I like the fact that it can be used either on its own for a bit of a boost to the eye area, or as a pre-treatment serum to boost the effectiveness of other eye treatments making this ideal for any age. A little goes a long way and I’ll be sharing a more comprehensive review soon. It’s £36 here – link.
