L’Occitane Ultra Soft Balm; before we’ve even started just that name makes you want to use it, doesn’t it? Well fear not, as it is every bit as lovely as it sounds, in more ways than one. The L’Occitane Ultra Soft Balm is a beautifully fragranced, multi-use balm that you’ll need to buy several tins of to have around the house, and at £4 a pop, that’s very achievable. You can use this on your body, hair and lips and I’ve been mostly using this as a lip balm and a pre-bed cuticle treat.
It’s apricot scented and oh. my. god. it is one of the yummiest tasting and smelling products I’ve come across in a while. It’s fruity without anything synthetic, so I have to truly battle to not munch my way through this (don’t judge me, I have a sweet tooth) which is why I’ll liking be stocking up soon. However, if these amazing beauty uses aren’t enough of a persuasion, how about the fact that 100% of the profits from the sale of each pot go to helping the women of Burkina Faso, where Shea Butter – a key ingredient in this little pot of joy – was first found in the 80s? Women’s Day is on the 8th March and every year L’Occitane pay tribute to the Burkina Faso women by releasing products that generate charitable donations. This year’s Ultra Soft Balm is absolutely gorgeous, well worth a tiny investment of £4 (or £12 if you buy three – one for your handbag, one for your car and one for next to your bed – which is what I recommend) and goes to help a great cause. I love products like these! I believe it launches on the 8th, but it’s definitely some point this month.
