My love for sheet masks continues and this week I’ve been trying out the various offerings from My Scheming, such as this moisturising Hyaluronon Hydrating Mask, which is my first experience of masks from the brand. As sheet masks go, these have some great plus points such as the template they arrive stuck to, which makes removal from packaging and application a lot easier since you just unfold and line-up, but they’re also quite small, so if you’re like me and have a long face (or a wide face) then you’re going to struggle to make these fit.
The big plus of these My Scheming masks is just how hydrating they are, as they’re literally dripping with product; my standard sheet mask routine is to put one on and then work my YOSO Pro over it for 5 minutes before leaving it on for another half an hour or so. There’s so much product on the mask that a little pool formed on my neck, so I had to put a tissue there to stop it getting mucky. The mask itself is hydrating yet very light, making it a great option for all skin types other than very dry or dehydrated; I would especially recommend it for oily/spot-prone skin types who have skin crying out for my hydrating TLC. After use, I rub in the remaining product and follow with a moisturiser. This particular sheet mask is from Cosmic Beauty who have a shop focusing purely on masks. I love this idea as you can pick and choose from their ever-growing catalogue and try lots of different masks without investing in a full box. The My Scheming Hyaluronan Hydrating Mask is £1.80 for one here – link.
