It has been a little while since I’ve found a spot-fighting product that I’ve been really excited to recommend, but here it is! The Murad Blemish Clearing Solution arrived with some pretty big claims, stating that 96% of users saw clearer skin in just 72 hours. Obviously I was rather cynical, but since first trying this out I have been continually impressed.
The Murad Blemish Clearing Solution comes in a generous 50ml tube meaning you can use it as an all over serum if you’re generally spot-prone. I haven’t found it to be drying at all – if anything it feels like a light hydrator – so I would guess it’d be fine for sensitive skin types, but obviously tread carefully if you are sensitive. I’ve been using it by applying it around my chin area which is where the spots usually develop. I also use it as a spot treatment on spots that I feel coming through and it does a fantastic job at reducing them quickly and effectively; spots that normally linger for a few weeks are gone in a couple of days, it really is that good!
I definitely saw an improvement in the aforementioned 72 hour window as spots settled down very quickly, and this was only after applying it in the evening before moisturiser. I love the fact that it comes in such a big tube as you only need a small amount to cover the affected area, so this really will last. I genuinely cannot think of a bad word to say about this and I’m so impressed with how well it delivers on it’s promises, so if you’re spot-prone then you need this in your life! It’s £39.50 here – link.

Will it help with scarring or is it just for active spots? Am very tempted….
That’s a very good point – I haven’t been using it long enough to know whether it does, but certainly the ingredients suggest it would be good for healing scarring; it mentions on the site that it contains a “vitamin blend” for supporting skin healing and it also contains salicylic acid which works well for scarring, so my best guess would say it would help xx
My mom has blemishes beside her eyes. I will tell her about this blemishing cream, i hope this works on her……….
Tread very carefully around that area as the skin is very thin there! xx
