I’m pretty excited about this new range from high street chemists, LloydsPharmacy, as it’s a line of nine products focusing on adding and maintaining hydration on the face, body and hair – a nicely simple idea that surprisingly stands out in the often overly complicated world of new skincare launches. The nine products are: Anti-Ageing Face and Eye Serum, 3in1 Cleanser, Active Day Face Cream, Intensive Anti-Ageing Face Cream, Body Wash, Body Lotion, Shampoo, Intensive Hand Cream and Intensive Foot Cream.
The key component in the entire range is HydraMatrix, a compound of three ingredients – Hyaluronic Acid, Molecular Film and Atomized Sea Water – which can be found in the entire range. The full nine products are also free from chemicals and packed full of natural ingredients that work alongside the HydraMatrix. I was excited initially about the range as I’m always keen to find anything that’ll help my dehydrated skin, but then at the event I tried a few of the products and got even more excited as they felt light yet thoroughly hydrating. It’s only been less than a week since I took some of the products home, but I’ve been using the Active Day Face Cream both AM and PM since I got it and it is absolutely brilliant; rich, extremely nourishing and brilliantly plumping, yet it hasn’t broken me out at all. This is a dream cream for tricky skin like mine, so I’m hoping the amazing effects continue, especially considering the range is so affordable; the day cream is just £7.99 and the most expensive product in the range is the intensive face cream at £15.99.
