Make Up For Ever

Make Up For Ever (MUFE) have been around for quite some time and have a reputation for offering some of the most fantastic makeup products available, yet they’ve always been rather inexplicably tricky to get hold of in the UK; you either had to order blindly online, or head on down to IMATs and battle your way through to being served (I did it whilst 5 months pregnant, I was that desperate to get hold of their infamous HD Foundation – review here that includes a very accurate demonstration on the effectiveness of a good green primer, also MUFE) so neither option was particularly appealing, but thankfully that has now changed as last month they arrived in Debenhams – woo!

To mark the occasion and to work as a kind of introduction to the range for those who are unfamiliar, pictured above are a few of the products I’m most excited about from the lot I was given – don’t forget MUFE are the kings of a good base product, so their primers, concealers, foundations and powders are amazing.  They also do some incredible colour products…it’s safe to say they’re an exciting brand! A good example of their colour products is the glorious Artist Plexi-Gloss range of glosses that’s available in some seriously stunning colours such as the bright pink above.  Next on my to-try list is the Pro Bronze Fusion, a bronzer available in six shades – I’ve seen a lot of reviews of this with people saying how amazing it is, so I wouldn’t be surprised if this quickly becomes a cult product for the brand.

Whilst we’re on the topic of base products, the HD Powder actually is a cult product for the brand, and it’s available in both loose and compact form.  Finally on to the eye products pictured above, we have the Aqua Eyes, a waterproof pencil available in almost every colour under the sun and the Smoky Extravagant, a mascara with an awesomely shaped brush head (pictured above) for both big, voluminous lashes as well as getting into every nook and cranny.  It’s safe to say there’s a LOT I have my eye on from MUFE and I’m so glad they’re now available at Debenhams.  Check out the full range here – link – and either show some intense self-control, or have your credit card ready…
