Quick Pick Tuesday: He-Shi Rapid 1 Hour Liquid Tan

June 2, 2015 · In: Beauty, Reviews

He-Shi Rapid 1 Hour Liquid Tan

This is a very quick post as I’ve banged on about this brand quite a bit recently, but the He-Shi Rapid 1 Hour Liquid Tan is such a star product that I thought I’d do a quick write-up to share with you why I dig it so much.  I’ve also got quite a few new tanning products to try at the moment, so I’ve started a new tag “The Tanning Diaries” which can be found in the categories to the right and will contain all things self-tanning from now on.

On to the product! Regular readers will know that I’ve only really recently got into fake tanning, and I had to really plan the application process as a lot of fake tans need to be left on for 6-8 hours or overnight.  This means that you have to then shower after 6-8 hours, which was especially tricky for me as obviously my life is planned around Teddy and I rarely get a chance to shower first thing in the morning (I usually have one before bed instead) so it was becoming a bit of a chore trying to find days where I could firstly find time to apply it, then find another guaranteed slot 6-8 hours later to wash it off. Cue the Rapid 1 Hour Liquid Tan fro He-Shi which, as the name suggests, develops in 1 hour.  This means I can stick it on when I get in in the evening then wash it shortly after.  It contains a guide colour, applies evenly and comfortably (I use the mitt from the same brand), works just as well on the face as it does the body, fades evenly and lasts a good week (less on my face as that gets a lot of exfoliation) meaning I can apply it quickly and easily every week without it turning into a big faff.  As you can see from the slightly knackered looking bottle, it’s got a lot of use since it arrived, so it’s a real winner for me! Have a read of my review of some of the other products in the range here.  You can find it here – link – for £23.50.
