There are so many great beauty events happening in London lately and I feel a little bit mean when I keep posting about them as I know that my readership is by no means specific to London, so it can’t be fun reading post after posts about fabulous beauty happenings that are too far away from you…so I’ll try and make this quick! This Thursday – 4th June 2015 – if you happen to be local to London, then why not head to Soho Square where VO5 are taking over the area for the day, to bring you a bit of a festival feel and braid your hair, thus showing you how to get your hair festival ready.
Obviously it’s a VO5 event so VO5 products will be used to add texture and definition to your braid – it’s worth pointing out that they do some really good texture products so being shown how to use them by those in the know it’s a very handy experience – and you can choose from three braids: The Coachella – a braid through the parting; The Glastonbury – a brad wrap that pins front hair up whilst leaving the back down, or The Lovebox which is my personal favourite and is similar to The Glastonbury, however most of the hair is up in the braid apart from a few loose strands. I’m crap with a capital ‘C’ at braiding my hair, so I would love to see how my hair looks braided! The event is running from 12-7 and if you post a selfie of your new braid and tag @VO5 #StyleInThePark you’ll be entered into a competition to win a festival experience for 2 this year – it really is all about the festival this Thursday and I can’t wait to everyone’s braids!
