Nubar are a nail brand that I don’t think get half as much credit as they deserve, as they have some great colours – some seriously beautiful brights – well-formulated treatments and even their bottles are well designed to make application a breeze, yet you don’t hear a lot about them, which is a real shame!
The POP! Collection is their latest launch, which contain six shades that I would describe as quite autumnal. The six shades are Fan Club – a muted teal; Prima Donna – mint, middle swatch above; Choirgirl – dove grey, right swatch above; Covergirl – muted, bubblegum pink; Encore – berry brown, left swatch above and finally VIP – a muted peach shade. The word “muted” appeared quite a bit in the above shade descriptions as that’s what these are, muted, murky takes on shades that work well for the cooler months. My favourites are Covergirl and Choirgirl, the latter of which you can see on my nails here. This isn’t the greatest selection of colours from Nubar, as these will mostly suit those who like to keep their nails relatively casual and statement-free, but do have a look at the other colours in the range as there are some right stars.
