QVC Beauty Excellence Awards 2015 – Best Beauty Innovation

August 19, 2015 · In: Beauty

QVC Best Beauty Innovations Category 2015

I absolutely love QVC Beauty as I think they are spot-on with their beauty research and tend to only stock brands that are the perfect mix of reputable and exciting; I’ve found so many great brands through keeping an eye on their beauty channel, so if you’re a beauty-fan (and if you’re reading this, chances are you are) then I recommend doing the same.  Each year, QVC awards some of the best brands and products in their Beauty Excellence Awards, and this year there are 14 Categories: Best Moisturiser, Best Facial Cleanser, Best Anti-Ageing Product, Best Foundation, Best Hair Removal Device, Best Beauty Innovation, Best Makeup Must-Have, Best Men’s Grooming Product, Best Eye Treatment, Best Hand and Foot Care, Best Hair Treatment, Best Beauty Night Product, Best Targeted Treatment and Best New Brand.  This is your chance to make sure your favourite products get the acknowledgement they deserve, so do head on over and vote here – link. I have the finalist products from the Best Beauty Innovation category, so let’s have a closer look at the shortlist:

QVC Tarte Maracuja Oil

Tarte are one of my all-time favourite brands, so I’m thrilled to see their Maracuja Oil in the shortlist.  This is next to try in my routine as people describe it as miraculous due to the fact that it helps with all sorts of skincare problems such as spots, hydration, clarity, tone and pigmentation, plus it’s light and absorbs quickly.

QVC bareMinerals Complexion Rescue

Is there anyone on the planet who tried the bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydration Gel and didn’t love it? This is a gorgeous product that really hydrates skin whilst evening out tone and reducing any redness, making it a perfect base for other products, or a light coverage for balmy Summer days and nights.  I love this for a really natural finish, so I’m pleased it’s included in the innovations category.

QVC Decleor Hair, Face and Body Oil

Next up we have the Decleor Aroma Nutrition Hair, Face and Body Oil – are you starting to see why I’m so excited by this category? It’s like an edit of my favourite brands! This glorious Decleor oil is a product I think anyone who loves their oils, or indeed just loves Decleor, will have in their kit as it’s such a handy and multi-purpose product.

QVC Vita Liberata pHenomenal Tanning Mousse

I was recently introduce to this amazing tanning brand that is so incredibly innovative, that it makes perfect sense that it would feature in this category.  The particular innovation that made the shortlist is the Vita Liberata pHenomenal Long Lasting Tan Mousse, which does as it says on the packaging and gives you a 2-3 week tan.  If you don’t want to commit to such a long tan then I highly recommend their other products for a truly natural, sunkissed glow.

QVC Benefit Rollerlash

It wouldn’t be a category of innovations without something from the Benebabes, would it? The Benefit Roller Lash Mascara is a clever little product that lifts and curls lashes, thanks to it’s ‘grippy’ brush that allows for a good bit of upwards pull as you stroke it through your lashes.  It’s also so cutely presented – I do love the packaging! I’ll controversially say that my heart still belongs to They’re Real, but I know most people cannot get enough of this innovative mascara.

QVC Josie Maran Argan Glow in the Shower

Finally, on to the product I was most excited to try, which is the Josie Maran Argan Glow Tan in the Shower.  I’ve heard such incredibly things about the Josie Maran range, but I don’t believe I’ve had a chance to fully try anything out, so this was the first product I got stuck into.  It is literally a wash-on tanner that works a lot better than I would’ve expected.  You won’t get a deep glow after the first use, but you definitely get a light of colour, that builds the more you use it for each shower.  It also comes with a long-handled body puff that ensures you get every nook and cranny covered.

QVC asked me to pick a winner, and I have to say, I’m really struggling! Therefore, I’m going to completely cheat and share with you my top three.  As this is the innovations category, I’ve focused on the products I think offer something a bit different, so in no particular order, my favourites are bareMinerals Complexion Rescue, Vita Liberata pHenomenal Long Lasting Tan Mousse and finally, the Josie Maran Argan Glow Tan in the Shower.  There are just a few days left to vote for your favourites, so ensure your opinion counts by heading here – link.
