The Coke adverts have started (such a child raised on consumerism) so it’s official, Christmas is almost here and with that comes all the Christmas parties, so Charles Worthington have put together a rather fabulous Dry Styling Bar that is absolutely perfect for getting yourself party ready.
It’s literally a quick, 15 minute service where your hair is styled by one of their pro-team. You pick which style you want out of the five available (up do, loose braid, smooth, wave and loose wave) then you’re given the style without the faff of a hair wash; if your hair is in need of a bit of a boost then your stylist will happily get stuck in with the dry shampoo or whatever else is needed, free from judgement!
I had the dry styling done a few months ago with the fantastic Johanne (who ended up giving me a full colour and cut at a later appointment – review here) and she gave me the Luxe Wave, which looked fab, although of course I walked straight out into a rainy downpour, so my advice would be to make sure you take your umbrella with you. This quick and painless experience will set you back £15, which is amazing value; I love the fact that the Charles Worthington salon don’t take the mickey with their prices, as considering their brand name and central location, you’d expect to pay a lot more for the services they offer.
