Bobbi Brown Sterling Nights Eye Palette

Bobbi Brown Sterling Nights Eye Palette

For me, the thing Bobbi Brown do better than any other brand is eyeshadow palettes, and the Bobbi Brown Sterling Nights Eye Palette is the perfect example of this; a glorious collection of nine flattering shades, in varying finishes that’ll take you all the way through the party season.

Bobbi Brown Sterling Nights Eye Palette Review

The Bobbi Brown Sterling Nights Eye Palette is a luxury palette presented in a heavy, sturdy and very travel-friendly purse-style palette with a good-sized mirror.  The shades are mostly warm, with a couple of cooler numbers in there for good measure.

The top three shades from left to right are Ivory (pale cream matte), Moon Glow (pale, shimmering gold) and Thistle Metallic (mid-toned, antique gold with glitter). The middle row from left to right are Dove Grey (mid-toned, grey-leaning brown matte), Pink Moonlight Metallic (warm, pinky beige with glitter), Smoke Shimmer Wash (deep brown with sparkle).  The final, bottom three shades are Midnight Sparkle (deep slate with coloured glitter), Caviar (deep brown matte) and the last shade is Pewter Chrome, another antique shade that’s like a deep, green-leaning gold.

Seriously, these shades are phenomenal and I cannot get enough of this palette. The Bobbi Brown Sterling Nights Eye Palette contains pretty much every type of eyeshadow you could need, starting with the highlighter shades for subtle enhancement during the day or adding light on night-time looks, right through to the deep, moody shades for strong, smoky eyes or definition.

Having said that, the shades I love most are Dove Grey – an amazing colour that can provide the base for pretty much any eye look, Pewter Chrome which is a beautiful yet unusual shade that’s so pretty on and Caviar, which can be built-up or smoked out, providing a number of uses.  The Bobbi Brown Sterling Nights Eye Palette is an investment palette at £59, but it’s the sort of investment you wouldn’t regret as it really does provide colour for every occasion, and I especially love the fact that the colours are flattering yet playful, and grown-up whilst still containing plenty of festive sparkle.  This would also make a wonderful gift for anyone who loves Bobbi Brown – I would be thrilled to receive this! Thanks so much! I still use this all the time – there are 2 or 3 shades in there that cannot be beaten!
