The December 2015 Glossybox is super pretty in every sense; the contents are fab, the festive spirit is spot-on and the rose gold packaging is a keeper. Glossybox December 2015 is a collaboration with the lovely Ree from Really Ree, and it contains a very good mix of six products.
I like everything in the box this month, so I’ve really struggled to order them in favourites as I’m likely to give everything a try. I’m always happy when there’s a bit of colour from make-up items, and as you can see, the box has some lovely brights alongside some luxury skincare – I think/hope this is a box that everyone will be pretty happy with this month!
Baby Pink nails are my go-to colour when I don’t have any other shades to review, so I’m very happy to see the lovely Candy Shop shade from Cheeky included in the box – I believe there are a few different shades being circulated in the December 2015 Glossybox. I’m rarely one to say no to a mask, and I’m really into sheet masks at the mo (just check out my Instagram!) and I’ve heard amazing things about the Starskin masks, so expect a more detailed review on the Starskin Hydrating Bio-Cellulose Second Skin Facial Mask (catchy name) soon. Next is a product that I think is going to be a lot better than I expected, which is the So Susan Statement Skin Highlighting Pencil, a golden, glowy finish that’s as smooth as a gel-liner and blends down wonderfully – I’ll be adding this to my December kit!
I’ve been pleasantly surprised by what I’ve tried from Essence – their eyeliner is pretty much just as good as one about 3 times the price – so I’m happy to see their Liquid Lipstick included in the box, in the shade Show Off. Now on to more skincare, starting with the Etre Belle Golden Skin Caviar Eye Roll On which you can tell immediately is a luxe product as soon as you roll it on – it’s smooth, cooling, fast-absorbing and yet another welcome addition to the box. Last on the list is the Darphin 8 Flower Nectar Oil Cream. I’ve not used anything from Darphin, but how amazing does this sound? Like an oil/cream hybrid! Unfortunately the sample size is rather small at 5ml, but hopefully there’s enough there to give me a few goes. There we have it, everything you need to add some festive glamour to your beauty routine! Find out more here – link.
