Philosophy are another brand that do Christmas really well – they ensure there’s something for every taste and budget, plus they’re pretty gender-neutral, so there’s something in there for the boys too. It’s Christmas Day tomorrow (as if you didn’t know…) so if you’re still short a gift or two, here are some great ideas from the Philosophy skin, body and fragrance range.
Every year, Philosophy release a few limited edition Christmas-themed scents of their famous 3in1 Shampoo, Shower Gel and Bubble Bath, and this year they have five – so there really is something for everyone! There’s Vanilla Bean Nutmeg (YUM), Shimmering Snowlace, Candy Cane, Snow Angel and finally Christmas Cookie, which is the one pictured above and the one I’m currently sporting – it leaves a very gentle and delicate scent that you only really pick up if you give your skin a good sniff, so it shouldn’t interfere with other fragrances. The limited edition 3in1s are usually £14 for 480ml, but Boots currently have them on special for £9.33 here – link.
The mid range Philosophy sets are fantastic value and well worth checking out, especially if you’re struggling to find the perfect gift…time is ticking! Above is the Hope for the Holidays Skincare Gift Set, which contains 3 minis from the Renewed Hope in a Jar range – the Refreshing and Refining Moisturizer, Overnight Recharging and Refining Moisturizer and Refreshing and Refining Eye Cream, a set that comes with a price tag of £25, but again is currently reduced at Boots, down to £16.66 here – link. The Peppermint Stick Gift Set contains a duo of 180ml of the Peppermint Stick flavoured 3in1 and a High Gloss, High Flavour Lip Shine, also in the Peppermint Stick flavour, for £12.33 here – link.
Saving the best ’til last, the joy that is Amazing Grace Holiday Collection is such a beautiful present – the packaging is lovely and luxurious, the products included are spot-on for the full fragrance layering experience, and the price is decent at £36, although I’m sure bargains can be found. The set includes 60ml of the spray fragrance, 240ml of the 3in1 and 12oml of the whipped body creme. If you haven’t had a sniff of the Amazing Grace fragrance, you really must as it’s all kinds of pretty and it’s one of my all-time favourites – I keep a constant stock! I can’t find this online to direct you to, but keep in mind that Philosophy are widely available on the high street from Boots and John Lewis, so you should be able to hopefully track down your favourites today. Good luck!
