I absolutely LOVE to hear that something new is coming from Omorovicza, as I don’t think I’ve ever used a product from the range that I haven’t found to be fantastic, so if you’re unfamiliar with this luxurious, Hungarian brand, I recommend getting familiar ASAP! The other thing I always like about new launches from Omorovicza is that there’s usually more than one, so double or triple the skincare excitement! There are two new launches this month, a new mask and a new Essence.
Omoressence is a gorgeous toner-like water that you use by shaking a few drops into your hands, then pressing into your face. The action kind of reminds me of when men use a splash of aftershave, as it’s that kind of movement. It feels like an instant relaxer on the skin as it’s packed full of skin-loving humectants and amino acids that instantly reduce any tightness that you might feel post-cleanse. It feels and smells luxurious and I particularly love using it after an acid cleanse when my skin can feel a little tight, or after a deep cleansing mask (like the one below) when you need a little burst of hydration without getting into your evening serum/oil/moisturiser routine. I also really like this after a shower when my skin always feels tight from the water – it instantly relieves that tightness without any residue. It’s £75 which is pretty steep, but you don’t use a lot and it will last.
The Ultramoor Mud Mask is an interesting one as it’s quite similar to the cult Deep Cleansing Mask from Omorovicza, and at first look I struggled to establish any major differences. To assess it on it’s own merits, it’s an extremely good mud mask that really does leave skin feeling brilliantly cleansed, smooth and lightly exfoliated – I think the key difference is that this one is designed to achieve a bit more from an anti-ageing perspective, thanks to the inclusion of the Marine Exopolysaccharides which apparently help plump skin and relax lines and wrinkles. I’ll be featuring this in Mask Monday soon to hopefully give you more of an overview – I think I might try both masks one after the other to really put them through their paces! The Ultramoor Mud Mask will be £65 and both products are due to launch any day now.
