Today seems like the perfect day to review the bareMinerals Stroke of Light Eye Brightener since they’ve just launched their newest product, the bareSkin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer, a product that I think will work really well alongside Stroke of Light. bareMinerals Stroke of Light is kind of like their version of Touche Eclat, but obviously in a different format. There are four shades available to suit different skin tones, and the shade I have is Luminous 1.
Stroke of Light comes in lipgloss-style packaging with a lovely, soft brush that allows for just the right amount of product to be applied. It’s designed as a brightener and concealer, so whilst it’ll definitely add light and lift darkness, it isn’t a heavy duty product, so if you have particularly dark circles then you’ll need something underneath this. I’m fairly fortunate in that I don’t get too bad circles, so this sort of lightly lifting product is ideal for me. It’s nice and hydrating, but without any greasiness, so it stays in place without looking dry, cakey or sinking too badly into fine lines; I’m yet to find a single product that doesn’t sink into the lines underneath my eyes, but this one definitely does it less than others! It’s definitely one of the better under-eye illuminators that I’ve tried, especially as you need very little to do the job. It’s £22 here – link.

I recently bought my sister Bare Minerals concealer and she loves it. Am now going to treat myself to some eye brightener hopefully it will do the trick.
Ooo which one did you buy? Was it the one that’s in a little pot rather than a stick form? I have that and it gives great coverage!
