The You Beauty Box is a great alternative to more traditional beauty subscription services, as it allows you to pick your own samples, so those who avoid the usual beauty boxes because they don’t enjoy the element of surprise will find this option a lot more appealing. The You Beauty Box has been around for a while, but they’ve recently adapted it to make even more options available, so you can tailor-make your box based on which samples you fancy and how many you want, whilst choosing a pricing option that suits you best.
There are three subscription levels available: the entry level Bronze which costs £6.95 and gives you two samples, Silver which is the mid range subscription and gives you three samples for £8.95, and the final option is the Gold level which is £10.95 for four samples – all three subscription options include postage and packaging. All three levels also include “treats and brand offers” which I presume to mean options to buy full-sized items at a discounted rate. The products above are examples of those that have been recently available to select for each box (with some still available now) and as you can see, it’s a very good collection of products from some really good brands such as This Works, Nip + Fab and Beverly Hills Formula. I think the key is to establish the value of services like these and adjust your choices accordingly, as there are some products that would make it incredibly good value, whilst others less so. Whilst this is a monthly membership plan, as with all beauty subscription services, this can be cancelled at anytime, so you’re not tied down to anything too long-term.
