Every time I pop in to Liberty London I’m reminded of just how fabulous their beauty space is – honestly, it’s just a haven of luxury beauty, unusual finds and covetable launches, making it an ideal venue for Omorovicza and all their glorious skincare joy. They’ve (fairly) recently started offering facials as part of their position at Liberty London, so I popped along for a Deep Cleansing Facial with Kasia – a facialist with impressive skincare knowledge, a firm belief in the brand and, of course, lovely skin.
Regular readers will know that I love a good facial, but if I have to pick between results driven and relaxing, I’ll always favour the latter as I think results driven facials are a little easier to create at home, whereas a 20 minute face pummelling isn’t! The Deep Cleansing Facial, as I believe all Omorovicza facials are, is very relaxing with lots of massage in a chilled atmosphere that’s been designed to encourage optimum wind-down. It’s also worth pointing out that it’s in a room that’s tucked away from the main hustle and bustle of the shop floors, so you definitely don’t feel like you’re in a shop and you can’t hear people walking and talking. It starts with a deep cleanse, then an exfoliation, then a mask and then some serious facial massage performed using a Hungarian technique that really is quite firm and thorough – it actually went on for much longer than I expected…not that I’m complaining!
Throughout the treatment, various additional massages were included, but what was a really nice touch was the hand scrub and massage whilst the mask was on, as it added a highly pampering element to the experience. The hand scrub and the Hungarian massage both gave this treatment a real edge and left me wanting to immediately book in for my next one as it was such a wonderfully relaxing experience. I’ve never actually seen my face glow in quite the way it did after the treatment – I have horrible skin at the moment, but after the massage and application of a little bit of the brand’s BB Cream, my skin looked incredibly vibrant – it was truly amazing! If you’re an Omorovicza fan or haven’t tried the range but would like to, this is a great way to do it as the facial is £85, but you can use that to purchase products instead (needs to be a minimum of two) so if there are things you’d really like to try from the collection (feel free to get in touch for recommendations – I have plenty!) you can redeem the cost of your facial and basically get it for free. I was really surprised about this as the facial itself is definitely a standalone treatment, so this is a really nice and unusual touch from a luxury brand.
