It feels like absolutely ages since I’ve written up a Mask Monday post, and having checked, it’s almost 2 months, so it actually is ages! I had to start the 2017 Mask Monday series with the Indeed Labs Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Mask as it’s absolutely brilliant and well worth sharing. I have a weird relationship with sheet masks as I have to really like them to want to keep using them, but I’ll definitely be picking up a pack of these as they do exactly what I want them to do – they infuse my skin with a huge, watery hit of hydration without adding anything else that’ll upset my skin or cause new issues. These are great for any skin types, but especially for those who are breakout-prone but still struggle with dehydration or dry patches.
As you can see, the Indeed Labs Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Mask is very generously sized which is extremely helpful as I have a long face and I often struggle with sheet masks as I have to stretch them to fit, which usually means that the mask isn’t flush against my skin and therefore the product isn’t being pressed into it. With this mask, it felt like the product really was being flooded over the skin, which is the whole point of this type of mask, so it was a total joy to use and skin felt and looked noticeably plumper and more hydrated after a single use. This is a great example of a basic process being administered extremely effectively – the mask will fit anyone (although you’ll be left with quite a bit of baggage if you have a small face, but that doesn’t really matter and is definitely preferable to the alternative) and provides a big glass of hydration for the skin without causing any problems. I’m a total fan and would rate this as one of my all-time favourite sheet masks. A pack of 4 costs £20 here – link.
