For the New Year, Elemis produced a selection of skincare kits designed to help you quickly and easily put together a new and optimal skincare routine with an introductory and affordable set of products, the Elemis New Skin Solutions. There are five variants available depending on what your skin needs, and each set contains a selection of full-sized and (decent) sample sized products to ease you in to Elemis if you’re new to the brand, or introduce you to some new products if you’re not.
The Brighten set is for uneven/pigmented skin and costs £42.50, with a value of £102.90. The Energise set is designed for blemished skin and includes products from the awesome, recently launched BIOTEC range and costs £69, with a value of £112.50. Illuminate is designed to boost radiance and costs £42 with products valued at £92.30. The Hydrate set will help treat dry skin and costs £39.50 with a value of £88.
The final set is the Resurface set which costs £55 but has a value £129.80 and is the set that I went for as I love Elemis Resurfacing products – their Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Wash is a brilliant “Goldilocks” of chemically exfoliating washes, as it gets the balance just right – skin feels wonderfully smooth after use but there’s no sting or tingle during use. As you might have guessed, the Resurface set is designed to improve overall skin texture making it a great choice for anyone who needs a general boost, and I would say that most other than maybe the very dry and/or sensitive would benefit from these products. The set contains a full-sized Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Wash, a full-sized Dynamic Resurfacing Gel Mask, a trial size of the Dynamic Resurfacing Night Cream and a pot of 14 Cellular Recovery Skin Bliss Capsules. I really like the concept of these introductory skincare sets as I think they take the guess work out of putting together a routine for yourself; you just decide what issues you’d like to address, then select a set accordingly.
