I love the whole overall vibe of the Better Together collaboration, which pairs the sugary, pink and glittery Too Faced with the dark, vampy, Kat Von D – to me it sends a really inclusive message saying that no matter what sort of style you align with, we can all take a bit of inspiration from each other; a perfect message for International Women’s Day! There are three sets in the Better Together collection, with the Ultimate Eye Collection basically overshadowing everything else, but I have the two other sets to show you, just in case the palette doesn’t take your fancy.
First up is the bigger of the two, which is the Cheek and Lip Makeup Bag that contains a gorgeous, heart-shaped makeup bag with Too Faced on one side and Kat Von D on the other (the pictures are of each person’s pet) – the two styles really couldn’t be more different! In the bag you get four decent sized minis, with the Too Faced products focusing on cheeks (Love Flush Blush in So Happy Together and Candlelight Glow Highlighting Powder in Rosy Glow) whilst Kat Von D takes care of the lips with Studded Kiss Lipstick in Muse and Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in XO. This is a very cute set that would make a lovely present for someone, but it is a little more expensive than I expected at £33 here – link.
The Bestselling Mascara and Liner Duo is the set I like the most as it’s well priced with two cult products that everyone will be excited to try – the Too Faced offering is the fabulous Better Than Sex Mascara, whilst the Kat Von D product is the Tattoo Liner in shade Trooper which is a satin black. These are both fantastic products that I’m very happy to have and I can’t wait to try that liner! This set is £18 here – link.
