The Birchbox April 2017 box is a collaboration with Boden, so the box itself is incredibly pretty and you also get a £10 Boden voucher. The April 2017 Birchbox contains two full-sized make-up items alongside three other travel-sized products.
There are some amazing brands/products included in April 2017 Birchbox…but unfortunately I didn’t get the greatest selection as there’s not a whole lot I would use. This is just bad luck as I’ve had a nose through the other possibilities and there are some great products from Elemis, Seche Vite and Ole Henriksen, I was just unfortunate to get some products that don’t really do it for me.
Starting with the two make-up items, the one I’m most excited about is the newly launched Nip + Fab Colour Correcting Concealer, although I got yellow and, as someone who uses a lot of green CC every day, I definitely would’ve preferred green! The second full-sized item is the Manna Kadar powder, of which subscribers got to choose whether they wanted the HD Powder that I got, or the Split Pan Highlighter and Bronzer.
The final three items didn’t really do it for me and went straight in my ‘giveaway’ box to be donated to friends and family. First up is the amika The Shield Style Extending Spray which comes in very pretty packaging. Next is the Baija Paris Creme Moana in Fleur de Tiare, which again is very pretty to look at and might get put aside if I were going on holiday as a handy travel body cream, but sadly, I’m not. The final product is the Polaar IcePure Gentle Scrub which sounds nice enough, but I’m soooo careful with scrubs in general and I don’t like to use them too often.
