QVC Beauty are one of my favourite beauty stockists, mostly due to the sheer volume of awesome brands they stock, many of which you simply can’t find anywhere else in the UK. With that in mind, it was inevitable that their beauty boxes were going to be good, so the TiLi Box – Try it, Love it – for Summer 2017 is thankfully a real cracker.
As you can see, it’s a great selection of products with a little bit of everything in some very decent sizes. Because there’s so much included, I’ve roughly broken it all down into three categories; colour, face and hair & body.
First-up there’s a full-sized bottle of OPI Nail Lacquer in various different shades, I got the bright and summery coral called Living On the Bula-vard! which is a great all-rounder for the warmer months. I am such a huge fan of the IT Cosmetics CC Cream, of which there’s a 4ml sample included, that I’m guessing will provide you with a couple of uses. The shade I got was medium which is far too dark for me, but the press release doesn’t specify a shade so they might be including the other shades too. There’s also a Benefit Roller Lash 3g sample – I think everyone has a favourite Benefit mascara (mine’s They’re Real!) and more often that not people say it’s Roller Lash, so this is likely to be viewed as a favourable inclusion in the TiLi box.
I’ve included the Ultrasun SPF30 (25ml) in the hair & body category, as even though it’s a face SPF, it could easily be used elsewhere. I’ve never used Ultrasun myself, but people rave about it as a range, so I’m looking forward to trying it. Speaking of brands to rave about, the Vita Liberata 10 Minute Tan (20ml) is another product I’m looking forward to trying as I absolutely love Vita Liberata and I’ve really enjoyed trying their previous launches. There’s 50ml each of the Julian Farel Shampoo and Conditioner – this is the only brand I’m unfamiliar with but I’m *so* pleased they’ve included both the shampoo and conditioner, as nothing grates me more than a beauty box that gives you one or the other!!
In my mind, the most exciting category in this TiLi box is the skincare section, as just look at all those awesome brands. Starting off with the lovely Erno Laszlo Double Cleansing Duo (Cleansing Oil, 15ml and Face Bar, 17g) of which there are quite a few variants – I got the hydrating duo – and these will actually last a lot longer than their teeny, tiny, adorable size suggests. There’s also the cult Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish with a muslin cloth included, and finally a decent 50ml of the limited edition Alpha-H Liquid Gold Rose – if you’ve never tried Liquid Gold then here’s your opportunity, just ease yourself in gently as it packs a serious punch!
