As I’m sure you can imagine, I was not at all unhappy when a trio of pink lipsticks arrived on my doorstep. The Laura Geller Pucker Up Lipstick Trio is a limited edition set that comes in two colourways, Natural or the one I got, Pink, both of which look gorgeous and are very well priced at £25 a pop and have launched to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Laura Geller Beauty.
The Laura Geller Pucker Up Lipstick Trio in Pink contains three full-sized lipsticks in three beautiful shades; Rose, a nude-leaning pink; Petal, a bright fuchsia and Pink, which is a very red-toned pink that I would describe more as a pinky red, as opposed to a traditional pink. It’s a really good mix of colours, and whilst I hate to say the dreaded ‘C’ word in August, this would make a lovely Christmas set, either as one gift or broken down into three gifts/stocking fillers.
The formula of the lipsticks is gorgeous; balmy and hydrating yet with a strong colour payoff, these are really really lovely lipsticks that can be used a few different ways depending on what look you’re going for. You could also mix and match the shades to create your very own bespoke take on a pink lip. Whether you’re a pink fan like me, or prefer the more natural, nude tones, these lovely little trios are a fab buy at £25, which works out at less than £8.50 a lipstick, making it a decent deal too. If you’ve never tried a Laura Geller lipstick, here’s a great place to start. You can find the Pink version here – link – and the Natural version here – link. Head to the US Laura Geller site here – link – where you can see some great swatches and more info on both sets.
