I’m so annoyed with myself, as I had the amazing IT Cosmetics Your Top 5 Superstars Holiday Makeup Collection to show you as part of a QVC TSV over the weekend, but in the excitement of Teddy’s 4th birthday (can you believe he’s 4??) I completely missed the time slot and now the TSV has ended. However, the news isn’t all bad as the set is still available and there are still savings to be had, just not ‘omg tsv’ savings. Still a total bargain for all this amazing IT Cosmetics joy, though!
The IT Cosmetics Your Top 5 Superstars Holiday Makeup Collection contains, as you may have already guessed, five products from the incredible IT Cosmetics range that the brand perceive to be their superstars, and I’m mostly in agreement – I say “mostly” because I haven’t tried the powder foundation yet – so here’s a closer look at what you get in the set:
Starting with the aforementioned foundation, the Celebration Foundation, which is a buildable, powder foundation that promises oil-control alongside airbrushing imperfections and is available in five shades, which you can select to personalise your set. I’m not really into powder foundations, but if there’s one brand that’ll sway me it’s ITC, so I’ll report back with how I get on.
I’m always very eager to try new ITC brushes as they do some fantastic ones, especially those aimed at perfecting your base (everyone needs the Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection Brush here – link – in their kit) so I’m pleased to see the Heavenly Luxe Angled Buffing Foundation Brush included in the set. This is designed to provide an effortless finish with both foundation and concealer application. I found it blended foundation really easily and buffed it nicely into the skin.
Finishing the base products is the Bye Bye Under Eye Full Coverage Concealer, which is a cult product and possibly the one the brand is most known for, since this is a really impressive concealer that provides serious coverage in a light and creamy formula. I’ve raved about how great this is (for covering everything – not just under the eyes as the name suggests) so it makes total sense to be included in the Superstar set.
If someone was to ask me what products would be included in the ITC Superstars set, I would almost definitely start with the Brow Power Universal Pencil, which, funnily enough, is one I’ve been reaching for regularly again recently even though I haven’t used it for a few months. It’s pretty much as it sounds, a great, universal shade that’s nice and neutral and would suit all but the very dark and very fair – I’m pretty pale and I can definitely use it with a natural finish.
The final product is the Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumising Mascara, which was my all-time favourite for absolutely ages as it’s amazing at giving you those long, stretched-out lashes that look like you have naturally amazing lashes rather than great falsies. The value of all the individual products collectively is around £115, but the set costs £64 (plus P&P) so it’s still a massive saving that’s ideal if you’ve never tried anything from IT Cosmetics (if that’s true, sort that out NOW!) or if you’re in need of a restock.
