The Too Faced Best Year Ever Makeup Collection is a fantastic set of make-up that’ll excite even the most jaded make-up fan. I’m always banging on about how some gifts can be given as one or split into smaller gifts, and this set is a perfect example of that.
The Too Faced Best Year Ever Makeup Collection contains a brilliant collection of products: three standalone palettes, each of which contain six eyeshadows and a face powder. There’s also a mini Better Than Sex Mascara, a guide to looks you can create with the make-up and a cute little zip-up pouch that stores all the goodies.
Can you imagine cracking open this present on Christmas Day to be faced with all that Too Faced joy? This is such a fantastic set that’s been really well put together at a very decent price point too. I normally say that that a gift like this can be broken down into stocking fillers, but actually, the palettes work really well as individual full-sized gifts.
It’s a struggle to decide which of the palettes is my favourite as they all offer something really appealing, plus I love the Christmas-themed names of the powders. If I really had to pick, I think (predictably) I’d go for Natural Beauty, but all three contain gorgeous, wearable shades.
I Believe in Pink contains mostly warm shadows with a mix of finishes and a bright pink blusher. This is your glamorous everyday set that can be vamped up or sheered out depending on your preference.
Super Fun Night is probably the one I’d reach for after Natural Beauty, as it’s got a great mix of slightly cooler shades with some lovely, vampy numbers, plus a great highlighter shade too.
The final palette, Natural Beauty, contains easy, wearable shades that’ll slot into any kind of day or night look, alongside a bronzer shade that’ll add a bit of warmth and health to the face. I like the fact that all three palettes contain a face powder in a different form, so you get all your face powder needs spread across the three palettes.
