I think it’s safe to say that the Birchbox December 2017 box is one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen – what an absolute stunner! The Birchbox December 2017 contents focuses on Life’s Little Treasures, so we’re getting five products that include three full-sized bits.
There’s a relatively good mix across all the genres with a couple of make-up bits, some skincare, body care and hair care. Unfortunately, there isn’t a lot to get excited about, as even though there are three full-sized products, the only one I’m really excited to see is the brush.
As mentioned, the Spectrum Collections B04 Angled Blender Brush is, without a doubt, the most exciting product in the box as I do love brushes and I do love Spectrum. I was happy to see the Nip + Fab Kale Fix Moisturiser included, but the sample is seriously tiny, so it’ll be different for anyone to establish whether it suits their skin. The Rituals Ritual of Ayurveda Foaming Shower Gel is touted as one of the full-sized products, but I’ve just been on the Rituals site and the full-sized item is 200ml, whereas this is 50ml, so I’m not sure what’s going on there…
I’m looking forward to trying the Kebelo Clarifying Shampoo, especially as I think detox/deep-cleansing shampoos are one of the few products that doesn’t need to match up to the corresponding conditioner to perform properly – just follow with your favourite deep conditioner. The final product is the LOC Vibrant Matte Lipstick in Color Me Confident, which is a bright and pretty deep red. As you can probably tell, I’m not overly taken with the Birchbox December 2017 box, as I definitely think it’s one of their weaker ones. They’re going out of 2017 with less of a bang and more of a quiet sizzle. I’m sure January will change all that and I look forward to seeing the 2018 Birchboxes.
