I’m so glad I managed to squeeze in this post on the Red Carpet Manicure Royal Court-Ture Collection as it’s such a lovely, festive edit of colours that will make a great choice for the upcoming party season. I’ve literally just worked out that RCM are available at John Lewis, which is even better news as that makes the brand a lot more accessible.
Red Carpet Manicure is my go-to brand for gel manicures as it’s such a sensible line-up of products that’s very easy to use, even if you’re like me and lack the skill of being able to create a tidy paint job. If you’re new to the brand, the starter kit (as featured in my 10 Last Minute Gifts post here) is a great place to, er, start, but if you already have a gel kit then you can pick up these gorgeous shades and I’m sure they’ll work with what you’ve got.
The Red Carpet Manicure Royal Court-Ture Collection contains six, brilliant shades, with the majority of the collection offering something a bit glittery or sparkly, so festive without being OTT. There are some stunning shades here, starting with Gown and Crowns which is a gold glitter suspended in a clear base. Palace Paparazzi is red with multi-tonal glitter, meaning that, depending on the light, it can go from a coral pink to an amber – it’s very pretty and I’m wearing it now. Divine Duchess is a chrome-like silver glitter. Regal Renegade is the one I almost went for, as it’s a lovely shade of purple shot through with a gentle, blue shimmer that’s really stunning and quite different.
Heir Appointment is a pale bronze shot through with with shimmer that gives it a bit of a rose gold quality. Finally, the Crowned Jewel is your typical royal blue – this is the only one that’s a cream finish and doesn’t contain any sparkle or glitter. The Red Carpet Manicure collections always excite me because there’s always at least several shades that I love; every time a new one arrives, I struggle to decide which colour to go for. Each polish is £12.95 and you can find the full collection here – link – at the main RCM site, or at John Lewis here – link.
