Beuti Skincare launched their first product, the beautiful Beauty Sleep Elixir (here’s my post), to much acclaim, and quite rightly so, since it’s one of those lovely, natural products that’s packed full of skincare-loving joy – I really need to hunt down my bottle again! They’ve recently launched their second product, the Pomegranate Glow Enzyme Cleanser, which I couldn’t wait to get my hands on, as not only does it sound and look amazing, after having such a positive experience with the Beauty Sleep Elixir, I needed more from this brand!
The Beuti Skincare Pomegranate Glow Enzyme Cleanser is a thick and fruity gel that’s dark and unctuous, making it a little tricky to spread on dry skin, but not so bad that it counts as a mark against the product; if you’re a fan of thick and balmy cleansers then you’ll know what I mean. It can be used as a straightforward, traditional cleanser, or left on for longer for a very gentle, chemically exfoliating treatment due to the fruit enzymes, making it an ideal gentle mask for anyone with reactive skin who’s craving that acid-like smoothness. I’ve used it both ways and I think I favour it slightly as a cleanser, as, much like it’s Elixir sister, it has that good, natural and pure vibe about it that feels kind and loving to skin, so you feel like you’re doing good things by using good things. It’s best suited to a post make-up remover second cleanse, much like all other similar products, as it’s definitely a cleanser rather than a make-up remover. It’s also a great choice for the AM cleanse due to it’s gently exfoliating properties that won’t dry out sleepy skin. It contains a fantastic list of goodies (again, much like the BSE) which I recommend having a read of here – link – where you can also purchase for £35.
