Considering how many fabulous products were reduced in the Boxing Day sales, I think I showed impressive restraint with my little haul. I actually found the Feel Unique site to be the most impressive and offering the best discounts, so that’s where I started my binge.
I love the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Foundation and I’ve been keen to try the matching concealer, so when I saw this was reduced I decided to add it to my bag. Annoyingly I was sent the wrong shade, but the Feel Unique bods are working to rectify this, so hopefully I’ll have the right shade soon. I’ve never tried anything from Lumeme before, but their Hydration Rescue Balm sounded like the sort of thing I needed in my life, especially since my skin is really dry at the mo – it’s struggling with the weather – so I need all the help I can get, which is why I also picked up the (non-sale) Lumene Arctic Spring Water Enriched Facial Mist, because it sounds awesome. Both products (here – link) are still in their early testing phase, but so far, I really like the mist and the balm is nice and rich, but both seem to contain fragrance which is a shame. My final Feel Unique purchase was the Origins Original Skin Essence with Duel Ferment Complex (here – link) as I keep reading about how amazing it is, so I decide it was time to invest.
Following on with my moisture theme, I’ve been lusting after the Cos Rx Moisture Up Pads for ages (here – link) and I noticed that the store I was getting them from had a promo for a reduction after a minimum spend, so I went for the Skin Food Egg White Pore Mask too, which I’ve yet to try. I’ve got a real thing for Korean skincare at the mo, especially brands such as Skin79 and Cos Rx, so I’m trying to make 2018 the year I try a lot more!
Finally, I had to get involved on the tarte sale since there was such a good deal going on, plus I’ve been wanting to try ordering directly from tarte for a while. They did a really good sale this year with lots of great products, huge reductions and free postage…how could I not pick up a little something tartey? Absolutely ages ago at a QVC event, I saw the Clay Paint Liner set, and I’ve wanted it ever since, so as soon as I spotted it in the sale I started building an order around it, as you do. Next I went for the Brightening Bundle, which consisted of the Ready, Set, Radiant Skin Mist and a sponge to apply it with. Finally, a non-sale buy to bulk up the order came courtesy of the Quench Lip Rescue (here – link) in Rose – my skin and lips are dry as a bone right now, so I thought this was a savvy investment.
