Ever since I got my hands on the Omorovicza Acid Fix, I’ve been desperate to post about it, but it’s too soon for a review. Then the REN Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic arrived and I realised I could get away with a quick heads-up post on these two very exciting new acid products, so here it is!
Starting with the REN Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic which is an acid toner that smells beautiful (like zingy, sweet oranges) and hosts an array of glow-boosting acids including my current favourite, Azelaic Acid alongside Lactic Acid and a variant of Salicylic Acid, this bad boy treats all the big issues such as dullness, pigmentation and is also apparently brilliant for breakouts too, which makes sense considering the acids included. It also comes in one of these fancy pump containers that I love as it’s one-handed and a lot less messy. It’s £25 for 250ml here – link – however, if there’s anything else you want from REN then they’re currently giving away 50ml of the tonic with all orders (from what I can tell on the site as it automatically adds with anything you put in your basket) which is a great way to try the product without investing in the full-size. Full review coming as soon as I’ve tried it out for a bit longer.
I think most decent skincare brands have one thing they do particularly well, and if you’d asked me last year what that was for Omorovicza, I would say mud products, courtesy of their beautiful cleansers and masks. However, now I would say it’s muds and acids, as their recent acid products have been absolutely amazing. The Omorovicza Acid Fix is a beautiful example of an acid serum done right. Again, this is another great selection of AHAs and BHAs (Glycolic, Lactic, Salicylic, Hyaluronic) that come together to provide a seriously lovely treatment product. I won’t launch into the full review as it’s still a bit too soon, but I’ve had it a couple of weeks and initial impressions are very positive. It’s out now for £85 here – link.
